DataPro is a talent discovery and project-based upskilling program to be run for 25 selected students and graduates of Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) towards mitigating the shortage of data professionals in Portugal.
This program is fully funded by Santander and will be run by the Analytics Academy of Data Corner, a big data Portuguese firm recognized by European Commission, in collaboration with Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS).
Aligned with the EC upskilling priorities, DataPro aims to find the talents among IPS graduates and upskill them in Data Analytics skills to introduce them to the job market in Portugal.
What is the ATU platform?
Analytics Talent Upskilling (ATU) is an online platform inspired by the European Commission and developed by Data Corner to run and manage the Big Data Skill assessments. ATU is recognised by the European Commission and is currently is active in EEN (Enterprise Europe Network) platform.
In this project, IPS will have a dedicated portal in ATU to manage the upskilling progress of 50 graduates attending this program. Also, each of the participants will have a unique profile to track their upskilling progress.
Who can participate in this online assessment?
Students and Graduates of Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) in the following subjects:
- Computer science and IT
- All engineering subjects
- Education
- Business, Accounting and Finance
- Bioinformatics & Biotechnology
- Social Sciences
How much does it cost?
It is FREE and fully funded by Santander.
What is the capacity of this assessment?
50 registered participants will attend the Online Skill Assessment (first come, first serve)
25 of participants with the highest ATU score will be selected to attend the online upskilling programs
